The variety of delivery platforms on which Soundscape can be enjoyed is expanding all the time.

We envisage Soundscape being delivered on mobile phones, satellite navigation systems, in-car entertainment systems and hand-held consoles. Right now, you can run Soundscape on our own rugged delivery units, hand-held PDA devices or a standard laptop computer or PC.

Whatever the delivery platform, the guiding principle of Soundscape remains:
completely automatic delivery of audio commentaries for driver and passengers alike.

Hands-free, "go where you please" operation

Using a dedicated GPS (Global Positioning Satellite) unit, simply switching the unit on brings the Soundscape experience to life - and thereafter it does everything by itself. No further action is required of the driver or helmsman leaving them free to concentrate on passenger safety, comfort and enjoyment.

The car radio-sized unit uses position, speed, direction of travel and other data variables to ensure that the right content is always played to your passengers at the right time and place.

Flexibility

Our innovative technology means that a single Soundscape unit can handle coach trips to numerous destinations in Europe, or an entire fortnight's cruise along a river or canal. The unit is easily re-configurable and everything can be updated in minutes

Your Soundscape might also include any number of safety or operator messages at appropriate times or conditions and, if you require it, simultaneous delivery in different languages.

The delivery unit has its own built-in GPS receiver, links easily into the vehicle or boat's existing CD, radio-cassette sound-system, video player or television and requires only 12/24 volt power.

Adaptibility

The Soundscape delivery software will also run on any suitable hand-held PC, running Microsoft's Pocket PC 2003 or laptop or PC running Microsoft Windows (XP or Me)
